海外の方が私をフォローするのは語学交換の意味でわかるけど、何故日本人の人(特に男性)が私をフォローするのだろうか。普通に意味ないと思いますが。I can understand why people from overseas follow me, since it could be for language exchange. But why do Japanese people (especially men) follow me? Honestly, I don’t think it really makes sense on this app.

妹の家の近くに土地があって、そこに家を建ててお隣さんになりたいと思っている。田舎だから土地も安いし。老後も姉妹仲良くお茶飲みながら話したり楽しく過ごせるかなぁと。

Using this app reminds me of when I had pen pals back in middle school. At that time, I used to exchange letters with a girl from Peru and a boy from France. We became good friends and even sent each other things from our countries, like CDs and snacks.Nowadays, we can do everything online and access information about other countries so easily. While that’s incredibly convenient, sometimes I feel like the excitement of connecting with people has faded a bit.Of course, it’s amazing that I can now meet so many people like this and learn new languages — it really makes the world feel closer and more connected. But maybe the reason I don’t feel that same excitement as before is because I’ve grown up, and the world has become more familiar through all these connections.このアプリを使うと中学生の頃ペンパルをやっていた時期を思い出します。あの頃は、ペルーの女の子とフランスの男の子と文通をしていました。仲良くなりCDやお菓子などお互いの国のものを送ったりしてました。今は、ネットでなんでも出来るし、他の国の情報も手に入ります。便利になりすぎて人との交流もワクワクが少なく感じることがあります。もちろん沢山の方とこのように出会えて言葉も学べるようになった事は、より世界を身近に感じる事が出来るわけだからすごく世界は良くなっているとは感じますが。あの頃のワクワク感がないのはいろいろな方と出会い、世界を身近に感じやすく私が大人になったって言う事もあるのかもしれませんね。
