Today, we honor Faqir of Ipi, a legendary Pashtun freedom fighter from North Waziristan! Born in 1897, he led a fierce resistance against British colonial rule in the 1930s and 40s. His guerrilla campaigns made him a symbol of Pashtun autonomy and defiance. Even after Pakistan's creation, he continued his struggle for tribal rights until his death on April 16, 1960. #PASHTUNAFGHANHEROFAQIRIPI
