๐ฌ A new episode of my gastronomic series in Lviv! Today on screen โ the legendary Lviv coffee houses and our Dolce Vita ๐In Lviv, people donโt just drink coffee โ they live it. Every cup here feels like a jazz improvisation: a little bitterness, a touch of sweetness, and the unmistakable magic of the old city. And the desserts? Oh, the dessertsโฆare just gastronomic ecstasy๐ Lviv cheesecakes, honey cakes, strudels โ theyโre not just sweets, theyโre little love letters to your soul (and a small attack on your waistline, but whoโs counting?)๐๐The idea is simple: you walk in โjust for coffee,โ and leave a few hours later, hopelessly in love with the city โ and carrying a couple of extra calories as a souvenir. But thatโs Lviv for you: sweet life, our Dolce Vita ๐is part of the life
๐ฌ Next Episode of our Gastronomic Series!Todayโs star isnโt just a dish โ itโs an entire city: Lviv ๐ฐโthe gastronomic capital of Ukraine๐Imagine a TV show set in a medieval town where cobblestone streets whisper legends, every cafรฉ has a secret recipe, and every chocolate shop could easily win an Oscar. Thatโs Lviv for you โ not just a city, but a gourmet blockbuster.โ Here, coffee isnโt simply a drink โ itโs practically a religion. Add chocolate factories, cozy wine bars, craft breweries, and bakeries that smell like heaven, and youโll understand why people call Lviv the gastronomic capital of Ukraine.
๐ฌ A brand-new episode of my gastronomic series!Today weโre traveling to France ๐ซ๐ทโฆ but without boarding a plane. Because you can actually taste true Paris in Lviv, at the cozy cafรฉ โAunt Sophia.โ The star of this episode โ French snails. Warm, tender, swimming in aromatic sauceโฆ They make you forget any doubts and open the door to a flavor world where every bite feels like a little bonjour for your soul. Paired with a crunchy bun and a glass of wine, itโs not just dinner โ itโs a French romance with a Ukrainian twist.๐ And hereโs the best part: you donโt need to go all the way to Paris. All you need isโฆ to pack your suitcase and head to Lviv โ the gastronomic capital of Ukraine ๐ท๐ฅโ.๐บ In the next episode, weโll keep exploring Lviv โ the city where every street smells like coffee, every bun whispers bonjour, and every plate tells its own delicious story โจ
๐ฌ Next episode of my culinary series!Todayโs spotlight is on Italian cuisine ๐ฎ๐น โ a cuisine that doesnโt just feed you, it serenades you. Pizza โ the eternal diva of the food world and Caesar salad โ not exactly Roman, but definitely a global superstar.Together, pizza and Caesar salad are like a classic Italian duet: passionate, elegant, and endlessly popular. No wonder they conquered the world โ from Rome to New York, and of course to Kyiv๐
๐ฌ New episode of my culinary series!Todayโs guest star is Georgian cuisine ๐ฌ๐ช โ which feels so at home in Ukraine that itโs basically part of the family.Khinkali โ the true celebrities. Big, juicy, and dramatic. You eat them with your hands: carefully sip the broth. Just donโt bite the little โtail,โ or youโll get a plot twist you didnโt expect!Georgian wine โ the wise and cheerful storyteller. With every toast, the episode turns into a festival: one toast, another, then suddenly โ a song, laughter, and maybe even a dance number.Together, khinkali and wine are like the perfect duo in a series: one fiery and bold, the other soulful and warm. Ukrainians adore them, because they bring the same things we value โ generosity, joy, and endless stories around the table.
๐ฌ A special episode of my culinary series!Todayโs star is Kholodnyk ๐ฅถ๐ฅฃ โ but not the usual one, with a twistโฆ mustard ice cream! ๐ฆ๐ถ๏ธ Imagine this: classic kholodnyk โ beets, cucumbers, radishes, herbs, sour creamโฆ and suddenly mustard ice cream enters the stage. This is no longer just soup, itโs a culinary blockbuster with an unexpected plot twist. This duo feels like a comedy show: kholodnyk โ serious and bright, while the ice cream is his slightly crazy sidekick, always adding drive and surprise. The result? Refreshing, shocking, and impossible to get bored with. A true premiere for brave foodies!๐บ In the next episode, expect new culinary heroes โ from time-tested classics to experimental rebels from all over the world
๐ฌ Friends, welcome to my culinary series! Many of you have asked me about Ukrainian cuisine ๐ด, so I decided itโs time to share our flavors and traditions. Each post is a new โepisode,โ with a dish as the main character. Sometimes serious and bold, sometimes funny, and sometimes full of personality and surprises.Letโs start with the classics ๐บ๐ฆ๐ฅฃ Borscht โ the red and hot king of the table. No episode of a meal starts without it. It carries the generosity of the land and the warmth of home. ๐ฅ Deruny (potato pancakes) โ our comedians. Crispy, golden, and always served with sour cream. Such a love story that they should probably be officially married โค๏ธ๐๐ฅ Varenyky (dumplings) โ the masters of intrigue. You never know whatโs inside: potato, cherry, or Grandmaโs secret. A true plot twist in every bite. But this is just the beginning! In upcoming episodes, Iโll share not only our Ukrainian flavors but also dishes from other cuisines around the world ๐ โ each with its own personality and story.๐บ So stay tuned โ itโs going to be delicious๐
When I was a child, I didnโt like August. It felt like a tall, old door quietly and inevitably closing behind the noisy yard, the scent of sun-warmed grass, and carefree laughter. With its slow creak, the magic of summer break would end, and the strict, ruler-straight school days would begin. Now I know: August is not a guard closing summer, but a wise guide holding the keys to a golden corridor between hot days and the soft, velvet September. It lets us into a space of honey-colored sunsets, warm breezes, and quiet evenings, where the sun still warms, but already whispers of change.

Summer rain is like an old friend โ arriving suddenly, yet always right on time. It doesnโt ask if you need it โ it simply appears, as if to say:โ...Look how I dance across the leaves, and whisper to you my endless song: โshhhโฆโAnd then I gently wrap you in coolness โ not with words, but with actions, like someone who truly loves. You smile, and I smile back, we laugh together, and in that moment, summer comes alive.. "๐งโ๐ฆ
In Ukraine, as in Japan, there are shrines that are located high in the mountains. One of such places is Goshevsky Monastery, which is located on a Carpathian hill, which is called "Pure".It is not just an interesting place for tourists, but above all a place of purification of the spirit, praying for the family, lighting candles, touching miraculous icons and getting closer to God.
Ukraine, like Japan is famous for its martial arts.Cossack hertc (duel) is a traditional single combat duel of Ukrainian Cossacks, which had combat, ritual and psychological significance. It was an integral part of Cossack military culture.Cossacks organised a hertc in front of the army. One Cossack rode forward and challenged the enemy: with loud words, song, throwing a hat or sabre. The duel could be accompanied by acrobatics, sharp manoeuvres, elements of combat gopak.Hertc was perceived as a test of personal valour and fighting skill.
Sometimes the best way to recharge is to simply escapeโฆ to the mountains ๐I was feeling tired from work, so I turned everything off and headed to the Carpathians. The sound of the forest, a crystal-clear mountain river and icy water that wakes you up better than any coffee โThe views looked like postcards, and the air felt like mint tea and now I can smile again โ not just in photos ๐
I often have to travel for work and visit the same places at different times of the year. Working in such places means seeing the world not only through a screen, but also through personal feelings. A balance between tasks and inspiration is possible. The main thing is to set yourself the right rhythm. In winter there is silence, freshness, snow and hot tea by the window. In summer - brightness, the sound of cicadas, greenery and evening walks barefoot. The photo is of the same place, but how it changes over time..... and maybe they're changing me. Have you been to the same place at different times of the year? What impression did the comparison make?
July 25th โ the day 25 roses bloomed๐Each one like a tender memory, a petal of love quietly falling into my heart. In this bouquet โ warmth, attention, and a gentle thrill, as if someone sealed their feelings into every blossom. And along with them โ the Shiseido fragrance.Delicate, refined, embracing me like a kiss left on the skin by the wind.It doesnโt just smell sweet โ it tells a story.......My story...
