I was surprised to find this beautiful duck at a small local park. I found out afterwards it’s called a Mandarin Duck, now rare in China due to habitat loss.

I’ve been missing the fall weather. Usually the leaves don’t change color here in California, so I was shocked to find a few places last year that were covered in yellow, orange, and red foliage. These shots are from a trip to Northern California in November.

I visited New York City recently and took some shots of the Vessel, an “interactive sculpture” made of steel. It stands 150 feet tall with 2,500 steps and 80 landings with a construction cost of $200 million USD 😵.
