If you visit Los Angeles and are a fan of plants, visit The Huntington Library and Gardens. They have acres of outdoor gardens with each section featuring a specific region - California Desert, Australia, China, Japan, and more.

I was surprised to find this beautiful duck at a small local park. I found out afterwards it’s called a Mandarin Duck, now rare in China due to habitat loss.

I’ve been missing the fall weather. Usually the leaves don’t change color here in California, so I was shocked to find a few places last year that were covered in yellow, orange, and red foliage. These shots are from a trip to Northern California in November.
