British vs American English 🇬🇧🇺🇸 Despite coming from the same language stem, American English and British adopt different spellings which is important to note if you are writing an essay/paper or even an email. I noticed a lot of people on this app learn the writing the American way which is fine but please note in British the spelling and sometimes different phrases are used. Hope you find this helpful 😊

If you ever come to UK you may hear people say: “This is daylight robbery”This means it’s too expensive/ overpriced to the point it’s like robbing people of there money. It’s well known phrase but not used so often, most people just say “it’s too expensive” and move on 😂 but it’s good to know.
