I skate in silence along the river’s edge, the night breathes out its chill in a soft, dark pledge. The wind brushes me, and I swear it’s you, like a gentle hug falling from the blue.Though you’re far, I feel you near,in every heartbeat, in every turn clear.Missing you hurts, but somehow it gleams, like the moonlit river, like shoreline dreams. For loving you, even when you’re not here,is skating freely with all I hold dear.
I recently saw this on a website, a rare atmospheric phenomenon. It looks so magical, I’ve never seen it in real life.A fire rainbow is the popular name for this rare optical phenomenon called a circumhorizontal arc. Despite its name, it has nothing to do with fire or actual rainbows.A fire rainbow appears when:1. Cirrus clouds are present, these are high, thin clouds made of ice crystals.2. The Sun is very high in the sky (at least 58° above the horizon).3. Sunlight enters the ice crystals and gets refracted, like through a prism, spreading into a spectrum of bright colors. The world is so magical, or well, it’s just science 🥺
