So today I visited several places and it was kinda overwhelming for several reasons but I'll stick to the Cherry trees. No matter how beautiful they are I'm not sure if it's worth it due to the crowds. Maybe it's just me since I come from a country of an all and all 10 million population. However I do understand that if it's the city you live in you surely want to enjoy the views, so it's unavoidable.
Today I visited SÅya, Japan's first Antarctic Research vessel (1956). However its story began in the 30s serving as a cargo ship, then during the wartime became a service ship for the Japanese Imperial Navy and after surviving several attacks was considered a lucky vessel, however it was left to rot. After a decade though it underwent a refit and turned into an icebreaker! It was overwhelming being on it knowing the weight of its history, but mostly for those dogs that traveled with it all the way from Japan to Antarctica and proved what amazing creatures they are! š¾
Last summer I spent two months in the mountains in Kyushu. Never been so close to nature, and I made some cool friends. Unfortunately one of them passed away right after I left. I'm glad that I got to spent a couple of weeks with her and tried to take her pain away with some delicious treats.
