On June 10, 2025, the opening of the solo painting exhibition "Man and Light" by Dr. Maria-Margarita Ivanova-Getova took place at the Sofia Library, with great interest. The exhibition presents nine paintings with prestigious international awards such as the Michelangelo Awards (Rome, 2019), Dante Alighieri (2021), the Audience Award at Bangkok Expo 2019, Shakespeare in Art (Verona, 2016), as well as canvases included in world art catalogs and exhibitions.A special place in the exhibition is occupied by two new works from the cycle "Coding the Water": Guides - "Calling the Water - Happiness" and "Calling the Water - Love", which will soon represent Bulgaria in a prestigious exhibition in the Republic of Korea, dedicated to the cultural diversity of 32 countries from around the world, at the special invitation of the director of the Chang Kil Hwan Apt Museum.The exhibition was held under the motto "Man is the center, light is an instrument, and the gaze is the source of communication", which provides a key to the interpretations of the plots and symbolism in the canvases of Maria-Margarita Getova.
