Just realised you can post videos. This is my time in Bali May 2024. It was my first time in Bali. A little culture shocked since it was quiet different to Australia. I found a gym on google to train at. I took a Grab to get there. When i got it was on the top floor of a building with no aircon. I felt this is training in Asia. The trainer were great and very friendly.

Who likes looking at old photos of your city?This is George St Sydney, Australia. Top one is 1988, and the bottom is today. Today there is a light rail line, market city, highrise apartment etc.

I had ramen the other day. It was Spicy Beef Ramen. When it came out it had a stack of chilli's on top. Soup was on fire. Then I had dumplings the same day.

Anyone seen this series? It's an American series based off a novel. The cast is mainly Japanese, and the language spoken is mainly Japanese throughout.The series won many awards, but to me it was average. Some very cliche scenes and twists, some "white saviour" aspects, and an anti-climatic ending.

Three Sisters at night. It abit cold at night. But there is a lot up path for most part. 1 metre pizza for entree.

Rolling out of retirement. Back into Muay Thai.. not training as much as I used to. But good to still be into the sport.

This is a man-made Japanese garden in Sydney. My parents used to always take us here when we were kids. A couple of weeks ago we went there again as a family. My brother and sisters are now parents. My nephews and nieces loved the place.

One week on from my trip. Already thinking about the next. Where should I go next?

Thoroughly impressed by this restaurant called Freshwater Japanese Restaurant. Turns out it was named after Freshwater Beach in Sydney Australia. What are the chances. We stumbled across this restaurant as we were finding it difficult to find an opened restaurant.

Culture enrichment lol. Living in a diverse country myself and now seeing other parts of the world. You see the positives and negatives. Keep an open mind, but not so open or our brain will fall out.Being in certain places I was annoyed at the mannerisms or lack of. People pushing in line etc. Even in my own country, certain groups of visitors partying and leaving trash all over the beaches/parks. Nobody is perfect, and I'm sure I've annoyed others when I've visited their country too. But as long as we're aware and can make an effort to read the room and adjust.Then there's countries I simply would not visit, due to safety and scammers. From accounts of others online and experiences of my friends/family.

I've made it back to Tokyo, after 2 years. It's my 2nd time here and I'm staying in Asakusa. Seems alot busier than before. Seeing new parts I didn't see before. Can anyone recommend any nearby areas to explore. Or any fun experiences/ places to visits?

Naha Okinawa has been great. Short stay here for two nights only. Tried some new food and walk around the main streets and shops. Nice little break from the big cities.

Shanghai is a massive city. It's population is larger than the whole of Australia. I like that there's alot to do and see. I don't like some areas that are heavily populated all day/ all night.

HK 2025. I was impressed by the amount of high rise buildings everywhere.

Anyone practice Martial Arts in Okinawa or Tokyo?Looking for karate, boxing /kickboxing. In Okinawa I've found Asato Dojo. In Tokyo I've found a Kyokushin class.

Can anyone recommend a book, movie or documentary. I prefer non-fiction books; areas of interest are self development type books. For movies and documentaries, anything interesting lol.Has anyone read this book - The Book of Five Rings?

Hiking, Spit Bridge to Manly Beach in Sydney. Took 2.5 to 3 hours. And about 18,000 steps.

If anyone ever asks me what's a recommended Australian snack or food. There's only two things isaw, meat pies and Tim Tams lol.KFC picture for fun only.
