Sometimes we need to take a broom in hand and sweep away the rubbish and debris of our minds, set aside the outdated thoughts, and wander through the bittersweet corridors of our memories leaving behind those that bring us pain, entrusting them to oblivion. For the sake of peace, some things must be cast away.

🌍 Curious / Travel-Lover ToneJust spent time going through a friend’s incredible currency collection — he’s traveled to so many countries, and each note tells a story. 🌎✨Some designs are absolutely stunning, especially the ones from African countries. The colors, textures, and cultural symbols are just next level!Truly makes you appreciate how much art and history is hidden in everyday things like money. 💵🗺️
The number of people I truly want in my lifeis smaller than it used to be.There are many I once admired—but now I see less beauty in them. The more I understand this world, the more I realize:not everyone deserves a place in your heart. Some wear kindness as a mask, but lack the depth to really see,to really feel. Not every smile means connection. And not every soul is meant to stay.
This is me — a girl who has always dreamed of being free, drifting through the ocean like a whale, weightless and wild in the open waters.I imagine myself not just floating, but riding on the back of a great whale — my silent companion through endless blue. Together, we would travel across the seas, diving deep, rising with the waves, and dancing beneath the stars. This is me — a girl who longs for connection, for friendship with a creature so grand, yet so gentle.I don’t just admire whales; I feel something deeper. Their soft, innocent eyes speak of ancient wisdom and quiet sorrow. I believe inside their massive bodies lives a heart full of tenderness — a sacred heart, beating slowly in rhythm with the sea.I’ve loved whales for as long as I can remember. They are not just animals to me — they are symbols of freedom, peace, and quiet strength. With a whale by my side, I feel like I could go anywhere, be anyone, and simply… be.
This is me a girl who dreams of drifting, free as a whale in the open sea.Not lost, but foundin the blue arms of the ocean.I long to ride upon its back, circle the waters wild and wide,to laugh in the wind,to dive with the stars,to befriend the silence between the waves. For years, I’ve loved the whale not just its size, but its soul. Its eyes hold innocence, its heart a quiet templebeating slow with love. This is me soft, wild, and waitingfor the sea to call my name.🌊🐋✨
💭 Why Do Some People Pull Away When You Show Them Love?Sometimes, when you give someone deep love and kindness, they don’t come closer — they actually step back. Why does that happen? It’s not always rejection. Often, it’s a deep psychological reaction to receiving more love than they believe they deserve. This creates something called cognitive dissonance — a mental conflict between their self-image and your kindness. To cope, their mind might:🔹 Doubt your intentions🔹 Downplay your love🔹 Or unconsciously distance themselvesAnd here’s something even more surprising:Strong positive emotions can also cause stress. For some people, happiness or closeness can feel unsafe — it pulls them out of their emotional comfort zone.According to Self-Verification Theory, we seek people who reflect our own self-image — even when that image is negative.Because for the mind, emotional stability feels safer than unexpected joy.🧠 Understanding this can help us love with more patience, and take things less personally.
When bombs fall from the sky, where is safety? Is it where my life is protected, or in my home among familiar objects, sheltered by the things I myself have chosen, arranged, told stories to, and built a life beside?Where is safety? In a distant or nearby citywithout privacy, among strange objects, far from my everyday world or in my own home, within the familiar geography of my daily life?Where is safety? Is it where I won’t die, or where I can truly live? Many of us these days are stuck with this question in our homes,or we’ve left our homes, our belongings, our flowerpots, and a part of ourselves behind, stepping out for an uncertain amount of time.War has a brutal face; it takes away the home and I don’t know what it’s supposed to give in return.I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced the forced displacement of body and soul. Many of us are going through it now.We have become homeless.Sometimes I wonder, is the one who stays behind waking each morning to the sound of jets and missiles, among flowerpots, in their own room safer?Or is it the one who has left, counting the days, waiting to return?Whatever the case, no one is safe in war.And I still don’t know what this war is meant to bring (if anything at all) that could possibly be worth this displacement and these precious lives.June 22, 2025 🩶
I was in a voice room with some Iranian friends, and something interesting happened. I said that I was cooking pasta, and one Iranian girl was really surprised. She said, “Pasta? Do Iranians even eat pasta?” I was really surprised because I think it’s strange to think that eating pasta in Iran is unusual. Anyone, anywhere in the world, can try and cook different kinds of food. It’s funny and hard to believe how people sometimes react to things like this.
I just want to say a big thank you to all my dear friends who took the time to send me birthday wishes whether it was through messages, videos, voice notes, or calls. Your kind words and beautiful wishes truly touched my heart. I’m so grateful to have you in my life. Your friendship means so much to me, and I feel lucky to have you by my side. Thank you for making my birthday so special! 🩶🎂🩶2025/4/23 Hana🤍
