Learning Japanese - 3 month review: Don't have much free time like in the first months but still doing Duolingo lessons every day. Vocabulary has increased a lot, especially verbs. I can now recognize a lot of words when listening to native speakers talk in videos. Learned a lot new words and some particles.Reading is going well, with occasional writing practice. Slowly learning kanji along the way.
Day 60: I'm two months into learning Japanese. I have finished hiragana and katakana and have started learning kanji. About 20 so far. This month has been focused in improving vocabulary, right now I went through around 200 words and 40 verbs. I've listened to some N5 JLPT practice tests and can understand about 70% of the words + another 10-20% from context.Motivation remains high.
Learning Japanese - 1 Month Review:It's been a month since I started. I've learned the entire Hiragana chart and I'm about 80% through Katakana. Even started with some simple Kanji.Duolingo says I learned 83 words so far, but I'm using other material on the side and would say I know about 200 words total, along with some commonly used phrases.Since I'm almost done with learning the writing systems, gonna focus on expanding my vocubalary in the next month and learning more grammar along with expanding my Kanji knowledge. So far it's been very fun and motivation remains at 100%. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk!
