Day 7 👊👊It’s been a week since I decided to make a habit of working out. I’m aiming of a 30-day work out before my trip to Taiwan. At the same time, I wanted to practice my writing and journaling every day about my workouts, how I felt and what I’ve realized. To stop for a moment and reflect on yourself is a wonderful thing after all. I want to put it on my moments on HT. This way, I can learn, and the person reading it might also gain something useful for their own learning, but then reality hits me. I can’t. I can’t find the courage to be true to myself and show it to everyone. Even to strangers. I know I’m not the only one who struggles to express themselves to people closest to them. We are all trying our best and striving to be better than who we were in the past. (Struggle of a middle child, I guess 😂)I smile in front of them but it doesn’t always mean I’m happy. I came across a quote saying,“Promise me not to hide yourself when you’re in pain. It’s unfair that we laugh together but you cry alone”
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but…Why do we try so hard to please everyone while being so harsh on ourselves? ¿Por qué nos esforzamos tanto en complacer a todos mientras somos tan duros con nosotros mismos?ทำไมเราถึงพยายามอย่างหนักเพื่อทำให้ทุกคนพอใจในขณะที่เราโหดร้ายกับตัวเองมากขนาดนั้น?Why? 🥹 Let’s all be good to ourselves first 🫶🏻
