The reason I’m learning JapaneseSomeone I talked to recently asked me why I’m learning Japanese. There’s many reasons anime, food, culture, and music. But the main reason is written below. I was walking through New York one fine evening and I saw an elderly couple lost. They spoke very little English and spoke Japanese for the most part. Luckily, I understood that they needed help so I showed them the way to their hotel. I still remember that they didn’t realize they were speaking Japanese and I was speaking English. But I was really happy to be able to help that couple and that is why I learn languages. I want to be able to help someone in need if I’m capable of it. Hi everyone it’s Adi! Today I’m sharing some pictures from the Cherry Blossom festival 🌸 in Washington DC 🇺🇸. The first Cherry blossom festival in DC was celebrated in 1934 so it’s got a really long history. Here are some pictures 🖼 of the Jefferson Memorial which is located right along the Tidal Basin, where the event is held annually. The event usually brings in a lot of people to DC so always be prepared for traffic 😅 but the good thing is it's a two week long event and there's even fireworks during the weekend! 🎆Hope you get a chance to see the cherry blossoms!😊Thank you for listening!#CherryBlossomsDC2019
