I wish I wasn't mixed sometimes as a Myanmar I wish my parents were either from Mandalay, Sagaing, Magway etc these regions that I was a "Bamar ma sit sit" (Burman/Pure Bamar Ethnic Girl/Woman) .. it's never easy being a hybrid/mixed ethnics though still indigenous when all you see around you are mainly one pure ethnic and you are different or mixed you feel impure sometimes or feel insignificant .. I don't know. I love Burmans/ the real Burmese with all my ❤️ & 🧠 and I identify as one of them and I DO have real Burman/Bamar blood yet despite that overall I cannot claim I am just purely "Bamar" because that would be a lie, I cannot and nor do my parents faces show that I am (the proof usually in real Burman/Bamar ethnic families). Oh well.😔🙄😒😂 nvm 🤎❤️ 🦉 🇲🇲
Part of me gets hopefully happy that you exist.. yet a part of me gets anxious as to the timing when our paths will cross (if they ever).. if we ever do, I don't know how overwhelmed I will be feeling at the time nor if the attraction will be there (be what each other is looking for).. # msg to future destined one ~ 🤍💌💝
# Eating Culture# in Myanmar # Cutlery I tend to use the western spoon to eat Mohinga 🥄 not the Asian spoon though (just preference differences) but in Myanmar they use that other metallic Chinese soup spoon to eat Mohinga with and 👐🏾 has always been an "etiquette" problem for my mother as she trained me to eat with 🍴 and 🥄 mainly and not use my hands unlike they comfortably do (most common people in Myanmar) especially amongst other Myanmar strangers (at our local place of worship, Buddhist Monastery etc) as it's not only seen as "unhygienic" or dirty/ unsophisticated but showing your class. Culturally, though, plenty/many Myanmar people love to eat rice/meals with their hands at home/ with friends around a table 😁😅😂🤔😋❤️👌🏻
