“Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.” — Isaiah 26:4 (NLT) Life is full of uncertainty: the ups and downs of relationships, pressures at work, tension within our families. We often try to cling to things we think we can control, believing that if our job is secure, our relationships steady, and our loved ones understand us, then our hearts will be at peace. But the truth is, nothing and no one on earth is absolutely reliable. Circumstances shift, people change, even our own hearts can waver. The prophet Isaiah reminds us that true peace doesn’t come from what is controllable; it comes from the One who never changes. Trusting God is not about escaping responsibility; it’s about anchoring our hearts in Him amidst all the changes. When we bring our fears, anxieties, and uncertainties to Him, He becomes the “stabilizer” of our souls. His faithfulness is like solid rock, able to hold us steady when everything else shakes. Maybe today you’re waiting for answers, or you feel like the waves are high. Remember this: the eternal Rock does not move. No matter how uncertain life may be, you can choose to anchor yourself in His love, and take the next step forward with Him.
